Messages from Beyond: For a Good Cause in Aylmer

Mélissa Gélinas

To raise funds to support families in need through the Aylmer Food Centre, clairvoyant and medium Abbie Kwong Pilon will be organizing a mediumship reading event at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 78 Rue Principale, on Saturday, September 27, from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. Doors will open at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $20, and all proceeds will be donated to the Aylmer Food Centre. Please note that the activity is for ages 16 and up.

According to Kwong Pilon, this is an event about spiritual connection with the afterlife. "I ask people not to tell me anything," she explained. "It's an opportunity for the spirits to come and be heard [...]." In this sense, the messages will be delivered spontaneously and in detail to the audience, providing them with a peaceful and reassuring moment. "It's also a chance for people to understand that, with a proven connection with the spirit, we don't die." More specifically, it's a transition.

This event was also created to honour Kwong Pilon’s mother. "For her, the language of love was food, and that's why I chose to donate to the Aylmer Food Centre," she said. “For her, it's an important and necessary cause, especially with the growing demand in the region.”

Kwong Pilon has lived in Aylmer for over 30 years, where she teaches Tai Chi. She also offers virtual psychic readings internationally. "I offer healing therapy, among other things," she said. "Everything I do is related to healing." In this way, her work focuses solely on the positive. "I don't have room for negative energies because I'm too light-oriented."

From a very young age, Kwong Pilon has had the ability to sense things. "I believed everyone could feel that way," she said. "For these reasons, I didn't engage spiritually during my youth. It was in my 30s that I realized I had visions and the ability to see entities." So, it's been an evolutionary journey.
